EXCLUSIVE: The head of the independent organisation carrying out the review into politicans pay explains why he thinks the salary of our MPs should rise from just over sixty-six thousand pounds a year to seventy-four thousand pounds a year, after the next election. It's the first time Sir Ian Kennedy, of the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority, has outlined his plans. He also wants to launch a consultation on his recommendations, including reforming pensions and expenses.
