JCB's twelve thousand employees are all getting an extra day's holiday to celebrate the company's seventieth anniversary.
The digger-maker was founded on October 23rd 1945 in a small garage in Uttoxeter.
Seven decades on it sells machinery two one hundred and twenty companies across the world.
