Fort St. John family left without heat during extreme cold warning

Temperatures have dropped in the Peace and Environment Canada warns that vulnerable people should dress warm and stay indoors with the extreme cold, but Janelle Hummel-Knightly and her two children are without heat. They've resorted to turning the oven up and lighting candles to try to warm the apartment.

Carolina de Ryk finds out more in her interview with her this morning and then chats with The Salvation Army's Northern Centre of Hope Executive Director Captain Deborah Vanderheyden to find out how the shelter plans to help those left out in the cold.
