Quotable: Foreign fish mixing with local as waters warm
Happy Monday!
Time for us to say goodbye for the morning as we start getting ready for tomorrow's show.
This is our quotable moment for the day: It's actually a clip from late-July when fisherman Jon Hunter told us about all the odd, foreign sea life he was seeing out on the North Coast.
Now, the North Pacific has reached record highs! . . . and local fish are having to compete for food with all the other species that are moving in for the warm water.
We'll post the full interview with UVic researcher Richard Dewey in a moment.
Until then . . . and until tomorrow, have a wonderful, snowy, icy, cold day!
