99 thousand children were convicted of committing crimes in England and Wales last year.
Almost half of those ten to seventeen year olds were punished with a custodial sentence.
BBC Radio Stoke's EMMA THOMAS spent a sparring session at a boxing club in Stafford -- where police work alongside current inmates and former offenders, trying to reduce the number who re-offend.
