R.Science October 2014 The Royal Society at the party conferences
We've got an action-packed R.Science for October. Follow the Royal Society at last month's party conferences. Three events aimed to get people talking about our 'Vision for science and mathematics education' and featuring interviews with Professor Dame Julia Higgins FRS and Maggie Philbin. To celebrate Black History Month, we hosted a twitter chat with Professor Saiful Islam and Dr Charlotte Armah; you can hear their thoughts on this experience. We also get an interesting insight into psychosis in an interview with Dr James Kirkbride, speaker at our September Café Scientifique. And finally, we speak to the panel of Writing wrongs, an event held in collaboration with the Royal Society of Literature, to learn more about the role literature, science and policy play in protecting the planet.
