Singer Jahmene Douglas, a victim of domestic violence, meets women at a refuge

22 year old Jahmene Douglas' father physically and mentally abused Jahmene's mother for 20 years. He strangled her, raped her and ,when she tried to leave, tracked her down. Jahmene, who last year finished runner up in the X Factor, was forced to watch a lot of the abuse and his father was violent towards him too. He's become an ambassador for Women's Aid and this week reported for us from a refuge - run by the charity Hestia - to speak to some of the women there who have managed to escape abusive partners.
