Octaver the eighth: Birth music: Culture Club and Bonnie Tyler

Would you believe it? It's already week two of Octaver - Octaver the 8th! And we're following my suggested roadmap, which calls for, to kick us off, a boo about the music at the very height of the charts when we were born. With thanks to the late Alan "Fluff" Freeman for having such a great theme tune (which I've borrowed for the purposes of discussion and debate) - here are two rather different songs around when I entered the world (almost) twenty nine years ago.

I should also add a quick apology for giving today such a rubbish title. Don't worry, they get better!
