Historically St. Pete w/ Rui Farias SPMOH and Perry's Porch Ryan Griffin

Season 2, Episode 304,   Dec 19, 04:54 PM

In this episode of Historically St. Pete, St. Petersburg Museum of History executive director talks with restauranteur and native St. Pete hospitality guru Ryan Griffin. He and partner Blake Thompson are the brains behind Mandarin Hide, Trophy Fish and are opening Perry's Porch in January in the St. Petersburg Museum of History with outdoor and indoor dining, picnics to go, a fabulous menu and specialty cocktail list named after historical figures and a relaxed, old Florida feel. Here you can immerse yourself in the rich history of St. Pete at Perry's Porch, a coastal eatery located on the St. Pete Pier. Named after Perry Snell, a prominent developer in the early days of St. Pete, our restaurant pays homage to his architectural influence and style that is woven into the fabric of the city. Nestled at the entrance to the St. Pete Pier, Perry's Porch offers stunning park and waterfront views from our wraparound porch. "We want to preserve the nostalgia and history of St. Pete," says Griffin, whose hospitality group also bought the legendary El Cap, founded in 1962.
