Sheltering from the storm

 Sheltering inside a bird hide looking out directly over Farmoor Reservoir, as a rainstorm sweeps in and across the water, we listen to the roar of the wind, the pounding rain and the calls of swifts flying in front of us, all from the safety of this wooden shack, which creaks periodically as it responds to the rainstorm.
