Episode image
The thunderous pulsations of huge amounts of water moving beneath us at a water treatment plant at Farmoor Reservoir in Oxfordshire, England. The intensity rises and falls in dramatic pulses, which moves this soundscape away from the blanket white noise of constant water flow to something much more dynamic and varied. Industrial-scale water treatment as a relaxing soundscape.
