Giant sleep

"I did minimal edits on this magical field recording from Australia, composing musical cells that directly connect to its sound-structures, adding multi-track piano with multi-track e-bows on piano strings, in static and traveling spatialisations. "Giant Sleep" feels to me like all kinds of literal or metaphorical sleep, where we exist in and outside of ourselves, like slumbering giants, where sleep offers a brief respite from, and brief hints of, the terrors of being alive within our climate crises."
