Response to Bentiu Explosion at the army Ammunition Depot

Up to 15 people were wounded in an explosion at an army ammunition depot in Bentiu, Unity State last week. Loud explosions were heard before flames engulfed the store at the SSPDF division four ammunition base. UNMISS peacekeepers and personnel from the UN Mine Action Service responded immediately.
