On Nationwide discussion hour, Gabriel Joseph Shadar speaks to a veteran in South Sudan's liberation movement, an intellectual, a writer, an activist and a former politician. Professor Peter Adwok Nyaba.
Prof Nyaba was the minister of higher education in the Sudan during the CPA period, and he was also the Minister of Higher Education Science and Technology in South Sudan. He is also a writer who has authored numerous works on South Sudan, especially about the liberation struggle in which he was part. His recent book titled “Up from the Village”, is an autobiography about his life spanning more than sixty years from his childhood until his retirement from politics. Dr Peter Adwok Nyaba holds a Ph.D. in Geology from Hungary.
