'2023 Make-or-break year for South Sudan'- UNMISS Chief Nicholas Haysom

UNMISS Chief Nicholas Haysom says neither the stakeholders of the peace agreement nor the international community are of a mind to contemplate further extensions of the interim transitional period in South Sudan. Haysom was addressing the United Nations Security council in New York last night. He shared progress and reflections on the implementation of the Mission’s mandated objectives.
