Nationwide Discussion on water tanker strike in Juba

For the last three days water supply trucks have been on strike over what they described as high charges by city council. But after a lengthy discussion between the water tank suppliers and the city council they called off their strike this afternoon.

The decision follows an emergence meeting between the truck drivers and the inspector general of police this morning who assured them the issue will not repeat itself.  The IGP also instructed traffic police personnel not to disrupt the work of the water tankers.  So, what are these high charges imposed on the water tank suppliers in Juba?
