In fact, I have to correct myself. There have been in fact several instances of large land masses through Earth's history, The earlier ones were probably in the 2 - 3 Billion years ago as I stated in this boo, but Pangea, which I specifically mention, which was the last one major land mass before the continental make up we know today, broke up roughly 200-300 million years ago, long before our ancestors started to roam the Earth.
