Book Special Pt 1

Season 1, Episode 43,   Jun 20, 2022, 12:00 PM

A treat for bookworms!

Happy Hour presents our Book Special Pt 1.

Join Holly and Paulina this week as they chat random book-y facts, like what enjoying the smell of old books is called, share some fantastic author interviews, and introduce a couple great book recommendations worth checking out.

We start with Paulina chatting with Author of the Little Book of Hygge and founder of The Happiness Research Institute, Meik Wiking.

We also hear from Mrs Jill Fry, who is 84 years old and registered blind. She recently decided to write down her life story to share with the younger generations how different life was back in the day for someone born into sight loss.  Her autobiography 'Born Too Soon' tells that personal story.

And finally our fellow bookworm Red Szell from Read On: The Audiobook Show, and our lovely Holly, share a book they reach for when they need a comfort read.

Find out more about Meik Wiking's work here: Meik Wiking | Author | Happiness Researcher
