Inclusive Football, Regain Your Confidence, & Overcoming Barriers To Nature
Season 1, Episode 32, Mar 28, 2022, 12:00 PM
Time for a fresh episode of the Happy Hour!
Life of a Blind Girl's Holly Tuke and RNIB Connect Radio's Paulina Kuchorew join forces again to bring you some great ways of looking after your wellbeing.
This week, Paulina chats with Pete Haskell at the Scottish Wildlife Trust about their 'Nature Stories' project and how it hopes to break down barriers to accessing the great outdoors.
Allan Russell chats with Dan Meikle from RNIB Scotland about a drive to make Football more inclusive to blind and partially sighted people. He also hears from partially sighted footballer Neil Atkinson and Paul from Bathgate Community Football Club.
And finally, Hywel Davies speaks to Shaun Eccles, whose life was turned upside down by his sight loss diagnosis in 2012 and how RNIB's 'Living Well with Sight Loss Course' helped him get his confidence back.
