IOM calls for concerted efforts in fighting climate change

The International Organization for Migration IOM has called for concerted efforts in the fight against the impact of climate change. 

IOM Deputy Director Ugochi Daniels who recently visited Bentiu, says the flood situation in the area has reached alarming levels.

Speaking to Radio Miraya this morning, Ms Daniels says IOM has had discussions with senior government officials on the importance of government’s involvement in fighting climate change.
