Twenty-three people reported killed and seven others wounded in clashes between youth groups in Jonglei

Government has dispatched a team to de-escalate resurgence of violence after recent fighting in Jonglei left twenty-three people killed and seven others wounded. 

The clashes, between youth groups from Uror and Ayod Counties, were triggered after youth from Uror reportedly attacked their counterpart in Ayod county and raided unspecified number of cattle over the weekend.

Radio Miraya correspondent in Bor Mach Samuel says fighting raged on for three days before it was eventually contained.
