Examining the contributions of religions in building peace in South Sudan

Communal and political violent conflicts across the country have come to characterize bigger part of South Sudanese society. Many people have lost their lives and many more continue to suffer as a result. There is undeniable hatred and mistrust that continue to fuel the unrest in the Society. Although peace remains elusive in the society many internal and external actors together with partners are doing their best to build peace in South Sudan.
