President opens Reconstituted national session with a call to prioritize peace agreement implementation

President Salva Kiir Mayerdit says the task of the national legislature in the coming days is to ensure speedy implementation of key provision of the peace agreement.

The President was addressing the inaugural session of the Reconstituted National Parliament and Council of State in Juba today.

He says the policy objective of the government in the transitional period is to end the war by implementing the revitalized peace agreement fully.

President reminded the national legislators that people expect more from them.
