environmental expert calls for urgent attention to avert the risk of more flooding in the country.

Nhial Tiitmamer, a leading researcher with the Sudd Institute says the latest water levels of the River Nile in Juba stood at just over 13 cubic metres, which he says will cause flooding downstream. 

Mr Tiitmamer points out that rivers in Ethiopia, Uganda, the DR Congo and the Central Africa are already overflowing into South Sudan, while heavy rainfalls could worsen the situation.
