PORSCHE TAYCAN CROSS TURISMO GOES FLAT OUT IN SPY VIDEO
Captured by Youtube's Carspotter Jeroen, the Taycan Cross Turismo wore its typical disguise that we last saw on previous spy shots that came out earlier this year. The concealments include black tapes on the body and other tapes on the headlights to hide details from eagle-eyed spy photographers. Of course, Porsche's comically installed fake exhausts are also present but the lack of exhaust sounds and the yellow round sticker on the rear windshield should be dead giveaways." says Motor1: “The long-roof version of the Taycan will more likely inherit the performance numbers of its sedan version, although performance will naturally be different because of their differing body size and weight."

EVGO INSTALLED 300 FAST CHARGING STATIONS IN CALIFORNIA
"EVgo has expanded its fast-charging network in California by some 40% year-over-year to 300 locations, so more than 80% of Californians live within a 15-minute drive of one of the stations. This year, the company already installed more than 100 chargers and the plan for 2019 is to add over 200, usually more than one per site." according to InsideEVs: "Overall, EVgo has more than 750 locations in the U.S. with over 1,200 fast chargers, which means that California represents some 40% of the network. That's in line with EV sales, which is around half between California and the rest of the country. According to EVgo, the number of customers using the network exceeds 180,000, compared to some 800,000 all-electric car."

DYNAMO ELECTRIC BLACK CAB FOR LONDON UNVEILED
Dynamo, UK-based vehicle manufacturer, has unveiled the first 100% electric, zero emission, ‘Hackney Carriage’ black cab for London that has been officially approved by Transport for London (TfL), the Dynamo Taxi. Dynamo Managing Director Brendan O’Toole unveiled the Dynamo Taxi, based on a Nissan e-NV200 Evalia MPV, at the International Clean Air Conference at London City Hall. The Dynamo Taxi is expected to accelerate the retirement of current diesel taxis from city streets across the UK, improving air quality. Taxis currently account for 16% of all vehicle nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions in central London, according to TfL figures. 80kW of power, 40kWh battery and 50kW DCFC."
TESLA RELEASES UPDATE WITH MORE POWER
"some owners are starting to report already getting the new software update with a “power increase”. Tesla wrote in the release notes: “Your car’s power has been increased by approximately 5%, improving acceleration and performance." reports electrek: "That’s due to Tesla figuring out how to optimize motor control through software."

TESLA ROLLS OUT ‘SCHEDULED DEPARTURE’
"Tesla Model S, X, and Model 3 owners are getting their first look at a new “Scheduled Departure” feature as part of an over-the-air software update that enables a vehicle to complete a user-determined battery state of charge at a specified time." says Teslarati: "As its name implies, Tesla’s new “Scheduled Departure” feature, previously known as “Smart Preconditioning,” will prepare a Tesla’s battery state of charge for a specific time of departure each day. By enabling the ability to set a departure time by day of the week, Tesla owners can better control when a vehicle reaches charge completion, thereby timing it close to their actual departure time. An added benefit to being able to end charging at a specified time is cost savings."
Tesla themselves say:" “It’s now easier to have your car comfortable and ready to drive with Scheduled Departure. For any location (e.g. Home), plug in your car and select a time for when you want your car ready to drive. Once your specified time is set, the car will schedule charging to complete before peak electricity rates begin (6AM) to reduce energy costs and ensure consistent regenerative braking and performance.”"
