#403 Escapism and entertainment | PinkUn Norwich City Podcast

Season 11, Episode 208,   Jun 10, 2020, 11:38 AM

The return of the Premier League may be controversial amid the UK's recovery from the coronavirus pandemic but with so many difficulties on a global scale, the escapism and entertainment of football could just provide a bit of welcome relief.

That was the over-riding theme of this week's pod, as Dave Freezer and Connor Southwell were joined by Canaries Trust chairman Robin Sainty and Di Cunningham from Proud Canaries and Norwich City Women as the build-up to Norwich City's return to action continues.

From footballers speaking up in support of the Black Lives Matters campaign, to City games without fans and the various NCFC strands of the decisions to curtail the League One and Two seasons, there was plenty to be discussed.
