Sounds from Vantaa, Tikkurila, Finland
Mar 25, 2020, 02:55 PM
Finnish lockdown sounds recorded by Juho Liukkonen.
"I recorded these sounds during Wednesday 25 March, while our government was deciding whether to seal the borders of the Uusimaa region.
"This sound montage consists of sounds from the Tikkurila railway station and the park nearby the station. Even though you don't see (or hear) people moving or chatting to each other, you can hear many working in the construction yard tearing old buildings down and cleaning sidewalks with pressure washers.
"Oddly enough, everything is seemingly "normal". "
