It’s been another busy week in Washington DC.
Here to break it down is House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA).
While Bloomberg spends millions, California Strong has raised millions to combat disasters across California.
This week, California Strong held their second annual Celebrity Softball Game at Pepperdine University. Big name players that took to the field included Mira Sorvino, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Adam Sandler, and our very own Elex Michaelson.
All this, as we’re joined by this week’s house band, members of the San Pedro High School Golden Pirate Regiment - the award winning marching band who have been named the LAUSD Champions AND SoCal Champions for the past five years in a row.
Having just marched in the Rose Parade, the band, led by award-winning director Darnella Davidson, is now hoping to represent the entire state of California in this year’s Memorial Day Parade in Washington DC. But first, they need help raising the $120,000 needed to make the trip a reality.
