Hearing From God: Risk Management - Robin Gough (10 November 2019)

It can be easy to give up on fulfilling God’s calling on our lives. Our security is threatened, we are disappointed, and we begin to question the significance of our work. “The risk is too great,” we tell ourselves, and soon we have slipped into the status quo of safety. When we read about Nehemiah, we see that he led by example. He was able to see beyond the risks because he trusted God. When followers of Jesus take the steps necessary to reach their community, risk is always present because the enemy doesn’t want us to succeed. But we move forward in confidence realizing that “greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.”
