Sermon on the Mount: Create in Me A Pure Heart, O God - Phil McKinney (15 March 2020)

"Create in me a clean heart, O God. And renew a right spirit within me." Can you hear the words of the song? We sing it all the time, but do we know what it means? And, are we willing to allow God to actually do it? Jesus tells us that, "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God." Only those whose hearts are pure before Him will actually be able to see His face and not die. But purity of heart is not perfection in action. If so, none of us could achieve it. But pure in heart is more about what God does than what we do. Join us this morning as we come before Him and ask Him to create within us, clean and pure hearts so that we may stand before Him and see His face.
