The Red Sox rotation is getting healthy at the right time

For the first time this season the Red Sox are coming off a series in which they were swept, and have now slightly reopend the door for the Yankees in the AL East. The Yankees are currently six and a half games back in the AL East but still face the Red Sox six times so this race is far from over. Luckily for the Red Sox Chris Sale has begun pitching again. The Boston Red Sox ace has been on the disabled list since Aug. 19 with left shoulder inflammation, the same issue that forced him to the DL. just a few weeks prior. The 29-year-old is 12-4 with a 1.97 ERA in 23 starts this season, so to have him back will be vital in putting the yankees in the Red Sox rear view mirror. Speaking of Red Sox starting pitchers, Eduardo Rodriguez made his second rehab start Monday, and for the second time he was sharp. Rodriguez has struggled with his pitching efficiency all season, but when he is on he could be a very valuable asset for the Red Sox in the final stretch of the season.
