Red Sox Stay Quiet at Winter Meetings While Rays and Yankees Ink Deals

While the New York Yankees were busy trading top rated prospect Justus Sheffield for James Paxton, and the Tampa Bay Rays were occupied inking a deal with 2018 All-Star Charlie Morton, the Boston Red Sox stayed quiet during this year's winter meetings.
General Manager Dave Dombrowski decided instead to let fireballers Joe Kelly and Craig Kimbrel enter free agency, and hear offers for starting pitcher Rick Porcello.
