South African Ambassador urges parties to fully commit to peace agreement

South Africa’s Ambassador to South Sudan says the country’s leaders and parties to the peace agreement must commit fully to ensuring the revitalized agreement holds and is implemented.

Speaking exclusively on the Miraya Breakfast Show this morning, Ambassador Gordon Yekelo called on the country’s leaders to take charge of the peace process.

Ambassador Yekelo said the signing of the peace agreement is just the start of a long road to peace. He also spoke of the lessons South Sudan can learn from South Africa.
