Belfast City Council is seeking the views of residents on the future of waste and recycling with plans to change the current collection system. With more emphasis put on recylcing it could mean that your balck bin will be emptied just once a month.

The council say that change to the current collection system is needed if they are to meet its target of increasing the city's recycling rate to 50% by December 2020.
