Relief and Rehabilitation Commission warns of action against sale of humanitarian donations
The Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC) is warning of action against anyone caught selling humanitarian donations.
The Commission recently received 50,000 bags of rice from the Peoples Republic of China.
Commission chairperson, Martha Nyamal says the rice will be distributed to vulnerable communities across the country.
She says the RRC will carry out distributions to communities displaced by conflict and floods through its state offices and churches.
Responding to reports that some of the rice is being given to government officials, Ms Nyamal said bags were handed out to office cleaners and messengers in Juba who she says are considered ‘vulnerable.’
She spoke to Philip Wani in this interview.
