Religious leader cries out for peace in Yei

The Bishop of the Episcopal church of South Sudan in Yei diocese is desperately pleading with the country’s leaders to ensure peace in Yei.

Bishop Hillary Adeba Luate says the security situation is disturbing, with recent reports of 11 people being brutally killed and their bodies burnt in village areas.

Speaking on the Miraya Breakfast show, Bishop Luate said it is difficult to ascertain who is behind the killings.

He pleaded desperately with the parties involved to restrain from fighting.
