Physician speaks on diabetes, the silent kiler
Today the World marks International Diabetes Day.The day is commemorated the 14th of November every year to create global awareness focusing on diabetes.
Worldwide, it afflicts more than 380 million people, and the World Health Organization estimates that by 2030, that number of people living with diabetes will more than double.
The international theme for this year’s commomeration is “Eyes on Diabetes”.
Dr. Elijah Maluk, a senior Physician at Juba Teaching Hospital explains more about the silent killer to my colleagues Alex Agole. He started by explainjing what diabetes is.
