Bishop Daniel Deng Bul makes plea for caution against violence

More must be done to combat the attacks and killings of civilians in South Sudan, according to a renowned bishop from South Sudan. Bishop Daniel Deng Bul, leader of the Episcopal church of Sudan and South Sudan, appealed to the fighting forces to desist from targeting people based on their ethnicity, “it is dangerous, it can burn up this county, killing based on tribes will bring more disaster to this country,” he warned.

Arch Bishop Daniel Deng Bul, spoke with Radio Miraya's reporter Francis Felix Katie and stressed that the people of South Sudan must be assisted to live in peace and not hatred. “I want my people to live in peace, let us not create this hatred which is going on in the country,” he said.
