Church Doors Open: Pokemon Go Parties....

If you've noticed people wandering around public places pointing their mobile phones into what seems to be empty space, you could have witnessed Pokemon Go in action.

The game, based on catching cartoon characters to score points, broke a world record this week for the number of downloads of a smart phone app within the first week of release.

Popular with children and adults it sends players to points of interest. One of those locally is Christchurch in Stone.

So the team there decided to open the church doors to hold a Pokemon Party to encourage new visitors.
