The Seattle Great Wheel

A pedestrian bridge crosses Western Street from Pike Place Market to a parking ramp. We stopped on this bridge to look out over #Elliot #Bay. Dominating the skyline is a 175-foot-tall #Ferris #wheel. Its 42 climate-controlled gondolas extend 40 feet over the water as the wheel lazily pivots its axis. We decided to take a spin.
