"Protect the Children, for a peaceful world," says Mariam Akiror, Child Rights activist

South Sudan has joined the African continent today to commemorate the Day of the African Child under the theme, “Conflict and Crisis in Africa: Protecting all Children’s Rights.”
In commemorating the day, Mariam Akiror, a lawyer, social worker, and child rights activist in #Uganda reminded the world that; "When children are protected, then we have a peaceful world."
