Transplant Survivor's Mission for a Medal...

Right at this moment there are more than seven thousand people in the UK waiting for an organ transplant -- but NHS figures suggest around 1 in 5 of those will die before a donor is found.

So imagine being told you've got weeks to live,writing goodbye letters to your children and planning your funeral, to finally hear the news that a donor has been found.

That's what happened to 42-year-old mother-of-three Sue Bennett from Ranton near Stafford.

She had a liver transplant last summer and twelve months on plans to compete in the 2016 UK Transplant Games in honour of her donor.
