Sue MacGregor Leaves Today

"My favourite radio voice", according to former Radio 4 announcer Charlotte Green, "is Sue MacGregor. It's a voice again that i could listen to all day and every day. It has a soothing intimate quality there as well, but there's also intelligence and authority, and a little bit of steel." Sue has been on BBC Radio 4 for most of the life of the station, as a reporter on The World at One in the 60s, 15 years with Woman's Hour, 18 on Today and The Reunion since 2003. For Sue's final day on Today, on Wednesday 27 February 2002, the production team put together this montage of her 'best bits'.
