North-east MSP Richard Baker steps down
North East Labour MSP Richard Baker has stepped down early from parliament to take up a role with charity Age Scotland.
An MSP for the region since 2003, he was set to stand down in May having previously stated he wouldn't be seeking re-election.
Last year he unsuccessfully ran for the deputy leadership of Scottish Labour.
Scottish Labour leader Kezia Dugdale took to twitter wishing him the "very best of luck".
