Multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter Sam Jackson was the first signing for New Street Records - a label set up by students at Birmingham University.

Sam is 19 and a first year student at Birmingham University, studying politics, philosophy and religion. He sang a song live on Michelle Dawes show on the Sunday morning following the terrible attacks on Paris. We wanted to share that song which we felt had an extra poignancy at this time.
