Flights to repatriate UK tourists from Sharm el Sheikh will begin today, with passengers only allowed to bring hand luggage.
Services were suspended in the wake of the downing of a Russian airliner at the weekend - now believed to be a terrorist attack.
Security at the resort's airport has been tightened.
Leslie Barbour from Gourdon is on holiday there with husband Wayne, and was meant to fly home yesterday. She spoke to Original 106 reporter Alastair Gossip.
