Is Ezekiel 38 Really Happening?

The purpose of this report today was to help us to examine Ezekiel 38 in light of the recent news developments with Russia's move into Syria, Iraq, Libya and potentially Afghanistan.
It seems that Russia is behaving just like we see in Ezekiel and they are making a geopolitical play into the entire Middle East. My educated guess is that Putin sees the weakness of Obama as his opening to make his long awaited moves into this part of the world.
We know that Russia is hungry for oil and natural gas revenues and its safe to say, that with the USA on the sidelines, it is his time to move in and reap the benefits of the oil and natural gas that is in plentiful supply within the Middle East (ME).
Let's move now to the scriptures and take a closer look at Ezekiel 38:8-12. There is a word that appears in this text and is recurring. That word is "safety." The word brings with it the sense of peace and tranquility. In other words, Israel is in their land and they are living in peace and safety. When one does a study of the original Hebrew we see that the word safety is a mistranslation of the Hebrew word "betach" (beh`takh) strong's 982. This word points to a place of refuge, security and a feeling of trust and to feel assured. This word and understanding it is key to understanding what Ezekiel wanted us to see in his prophecy, concerning the state of mind that Israel would have. The better translation according to the Orthodox Jewish Bible and the Complete Jewish Bible as well as Strong's Hebrew Dictionary , is this word carries the meaning and sense of "security." At this point we need to correct another mistranslation and that is the word "unwalled villages." Many have taken this to mean that Israel would not have any security measures like a secure border fence that keeps terrorists out of their country and that peace with her neighbors would be the order of the day. Because they have drawn this conclusion it leads them to a misinterpretation of Ezekiel 38:11. The word for unwalled is "prazah" or (perawsaw) strong's 6518 and 6519. this actually means an open country of unwalled towns and unwalled villages. The sense Ezekiel wanted us to get is that this invasion of Russia and Iran will come when Israel is firmly back in their own land and the country of Israel is an open expanse of communities, cities and towns.
They, the Jews are securely in possession of the land and the land takes on an appearance of an open expanse of towns, neighborhoods and cities that are not barred-in with walls, fences that are not bolted shut and watch towers in place. People are free to roam and travel within the borders of Israel. This is the picture Ezekiel was trying to draw with his words for us, and now with a better understanding of what he was saying about the nature and character of Israel, we can see that we have arrived at the exact place in time that Ezekiel saw and he was amazed at what he saw for sure!
Israel is a land that flows with milk and honey. Israel is a land where you can go from town to town freely and travel is not hindered by gates, walls, fortified defensive towers. Israel is exactly what God said it would become a gem in the wilderness - like the garden of eden!
Is it a coincidence that Israel is now, at this time, tapping into huge oil and natural gas reserves? Or could it just be that God has orchestrated this right on time to coincide with the rise and ascent of the bear, Russia and Persia, Iran and all their hordes? Now Israel does have a spoil that can be taken, a spoil that Russia is very hungry for. So what's next?
Here's how I see it and please do your own reading, studying and searching of the scriptures. Do not take my word for it, check me and my reporting against God's Word. Be a Berean! I believe we could see the Ezekiel 38 war breakout and it would lead to the rise of The Man of Sin that many of us know as The Antichrist. He will confirm a 7 year peace pact with Israel and her Arab enemies. I believe we will see persecution of Jews and Christians continue to get worse and the Apostasy that is full swing now will deepen. The rapture of believers will take place, the Antichrist will be enraged and the wrath of God will ensue as he claims to be god in the temple of God. The false peace will last 3.5 years and the Wrath of God (The Great Tribulation) will last 3.5 years and the battle of Ezekiel 39 will commence, see Revelation 19 for the commentary on this war. Finally, The Messiah will return to put an end to the madness.
I have only given a synopsis or summary of what is on the horizon and I have deliberately left out many details that can be found in Daniel 8-12, Zechariah 11-14, Joel 2-3, Jeremiah 30-31, Matthew 24, John 14, 1 Corinthians 15, 1 Thessalonians 5, 2 Thessalonians 2 and Revelation 5-22.
In conclusion, I do believe we are seeing the beginning stages of Ezekiel 38 and if I am correct, and remember things in the Middle East can change dramatically overnight, then the time will come when Russia begins to make a charge with Iran into Israel and The God of Israel will attack them with a destructive force we have not seen on earth yet.
