Tim Wedgwood speaking to Alton Towers doctor who won Pride of Britain Award

Dr. Ben Clark had to make a split second decision when he, and two other Midlands Air Ambulance volunteers arrived on site of the crash on The Smiler ride at Alton Towers. The decisions all the first responder's made that day saved the lives of people stuck in the carriage that had crashed into a test carriage at 50 mph. Dr Clark tells BBC Radio Stoke how he felt when he arrived at the crash site and when he realised two passengers would have their lives changed.
