Fawlty Towers is celebrating a milestone - it's 40 years old
The comedy show is ranked the 6th funniest TV show of all time in the world beating the likes of Friends, The Office, The Simpsons, and Blackadder. There were only ever 12 episodes made but it's considered "comedy perfection". Inspired by a real life hotelier in Torquay - the real Basil Fawlty was said to be really as bad as the fictional one. Richard Wilford chatted to Mark Jenkins who was famously compared to Basil when he starred in Channel 4 show "The Hotel"
