Peace is top priority for new WES cabinet

The Caretaker Governor of Western Eqauatria State says peace remains the top priority of his new cabinet.

Patrick Raphael Zamoi issued 7 decrees over the weekend, relieving his deputy, ministers, advisors and commissioners.

His former Deputy, Sapana Abui has been removed and reappointed as advisor for Local Government and Administration. The new Deputy Governor is Bullen Abiataraj Hakim.

Zamoi has also announced the creation of the new ministries of Roads and Bridges and Housing, Electricity and Water; carved from the ministry of Physical Infrastructure .

Western Equatoria has been the scene of unrest and insecurity in the past weeks.

In an interview with Radio Miraya, the Caretaker Governor said his government will dialogue and work with stakeholders in the interest of peace in the state.
